Individual Member Benefits - USGA HANDICAP INDEX ® - The CDGA provides a USGA Handicap Index to all members. Revisions take place on the 1st and 15th of every month, year round, and are sent to members via email as well as accessible from My CDGA Caddie.
- WEBSITE & MY CDGA CADDIE - The CDGA’s official website features My CDGA Caddie, a personalized section which allows players to access their handicap information and, if their club allows, to post scores from any computer with internet access. Tournament and Member Days registration as well as the Green Book course directory are also available on the CDGA website.

- MEMBER COMMUNICATIONS - The Chicago District Golfer magazine, the official publication of the CDGA, is mailed directly to all member homes. The magazine is published six times annually and covers golf topics of Chicago District interest.
All association members who provide an e-mail address will also receive the CDGA’s monthly Scorecard E-newsletter. The Scorecard provides news, updates and exclusive promotions available to members in the Chicago District.
- GOLD MEMBERSHIP UPGRADE - Gold membership awards CDGA members Gold points for all rounds played at CDGA member clubs. Gold members have the ability to redeem these points, at certain levels, for merchandise from the CDGA Store. To learn more about the Gold membership upgrade, click here.
- EDUCATION PROGRAM - Each year the CDGA conducts several basic rules seminars at locations throughout the Chicago suburbs. Basic seminars at the Golf House are typically scheduled in March and are free of charge to members. For seminar dates, click here.
- MEMBER DAYS - Member Days are hosted by the CDGA exclusively for its members to benefit the Sunshine Through Golf Foundation. The outings are an opportunity for members to enjoy a day of golf at CDGA member courses they normally would not have the opportunity to play and donate to the Sunshine Through Golf Foundation for a nominal, partially tax-deductable fee. - TOURNAMENT PROGRAM - Each season, the CDGA sponsors and conducts nearly 60 events including 12 championships for amateur golfers: high and low handicappers, juniors, seniors, men and women. For tournament information, click here.
- GOLF EXCURSIONS - Every fall the CDGA takes a group of members to a premier resort in the United States.
- BMW CHAMPIONSHIP - CDGA members receive 20% off regularly priced tickets until June 1 for the BMW Championship, the third leg of the PGA Playoffs, at Cog Hill Golf and Country Club in Lemont, Ill.
