| 3RD CHICAGO ADAPTIVE OPEN FIELD SOLD OUT, ADDITIONAL ENHANCEMENTS ON TAP | |
| Tuesday, April 7, 2026 - The 3rd Chicago Adaptive Open presented by Illinois Bone & Joint Institute (IBJI) will feature a full field for the first time in event history when it is contested June 13-14 at Fox Bend Golf Course in Oswego. Registration opened Feb. 3, with spots being filled by 84 top golfers with physical and intellectual disabilities representing eight countries and 25 states.
Additional updates in the time since registration opening include: Five-Year Commitments From Fox Bend and IBJI Fox Bend Golf Course/Oswegoland Park District and Illinois Bone & Joint Institute signed on for five-year agreements to serve as event host and presenting sponsor, respectively. Both entities initially aligned with the event in 2025 and will now support the competition through 2030. Live Stream With CGN Returns The event will once again be live streamed through a collaboration between CDGATV and CGN. Longtime WGN sportscaster Dan Roan, CDGATV’s Tim Merrick and ESPN 1000’s Tyler Aki will carry the coverage on both days of competition, with Saturday, June 13 focusing on each player’s opening tee shot and Sunday, June 14 following leading competitors. The streams will be available free of charge on CGN’s YouTube channel. Post-Event Entertainment Featured All Weekend The inspiring competition on the course will be complemented by engaging entertainment throughout the weekend. Friday, June 12 will be highlighted by the CDGA Foundation Nine & Dine Pro-Am presented by Wadsworth Golf Charities, with a reception featuring local music to follow. More music will welcome fans and spectators following play on Saturday, June 13 before the event concludes with another concert and awards ceremony on the evening of Sunday, June 14.
