Two-Person Net Better Ball at various X-Golf locations within the Chicago District
Players will receive 65% of their Handicap Index®
Teammates must have Handicap Indexes within 4.4 of each other. Those with higher variance will be adjusted.
An individual player’s index is based off the Handicap Index® effective Jan. 1, 2024
Players may arrive 30 minutes prior to starting times to warm up
All ties are broken using a scorecard playoff (holes 10-18). If tied teams have the same score for the last nine, the winner will be determined on the basis of the last six holes, three holes, and the 18th hole in that order. This method will be repeated using the front nine, if necessary.
Forming a Team:
Teams may be made up of any two CDGA members at least 21 years of age. All active CDGA members with a Handicap Index® are welcome to participate. To become a CDGA member or renew an expired membership, CLICK HERE.
Teams may compete in more than one qualifier to try to qualify for the championship
Registration fee is $200 per team, which includes warm-up, 18 holes of stroke play for both players and CDGA tee gifts
Finalists and Prizes:
The top two teams at each qualifier will advance to the Championship on Saturday, May 11. A total of 18 teams will compete at the Championship.
An additional two “wild card” teams will be added – this will go to the teams that record the lowest net better ball scores from all Qualifiers that do not otherwise qualify automatically.
Top finishers at the Championship will receive gifts and prizes from the CDGA and Geneva National Resort & Club in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin.
