Your official scorecard will be completed electronically. Bring your smartphone and have the My CDGA app ready to use. Do not open the electronic scoring platform until instructed (specific details provided at your starting tee).

Read through the Championship Polices / Key Information prior to the event. It is the player's responsibility to be familiar with the information provided in this link and comply with all policies set by the CDGA.

FORMAT

18-holes of stroke play qualifying competed at scratch. Partner event where two competitors play as a team, each playing their own ball. The lower score between to the two is the score for the team on that hole.

ELIGIBILITY

The Championship is open to any active CDGA Member with a individual handicap index not exceeding 10.4. Partners do not have to be from the same club, however they must both hold an active CDGA membership. The CDGA reserves the right to approve or reject any entry, and extend special invitations. No Partner changes once you have qualified into the Championship.

PRACTICE ROUND

The CDGA does not require the host qualifying site to provide a practice round for contestants. The decision as to whether a practice round will be available is at the discretion of the host site. If a practice round is available, each contestant is responsible to contact the host site and pay for any practice round(s) they wish to play.

Players should call the golf shop or book online to make arrangements (see Club Location below for phone number and website). When calling to book a tee time, players must mention that they are a contestant in the CDGA Amateur Four-Ball Qualifying to receive the resident rate. All practice round times are based on availability.

GOLF CARTS

Riding carts are permitted. Players will pay for their own carts.

Spectator carts are not allowed - please view the policy regarding requests for cart usage under the ADA. The policy is located in the link at the top of the page.

CADDIES

Individual caddies are permitted at all CDGA conducted events.

PULL CARTS

Pull carts are permitted at all events. You are encouraged to bring your own.

DRIVING RANGE

The driving range will open at 9:00 a.m., courtesy of the CDGA.

FOOTWEAR / SPIKE POLICY

Model Local Rule G-7 is in effect for this event

STARTING TIMES

Tee times will begin at 10:00 a.m. off #1 and #10.

FOOD SERVICES

Drinking Water: Players are encouraged to bring an adequate supply of drinking water to each event. The CDGA will make every effort to arrange for drinking water to be available on the tee at Holes #1 and #10. However, please note that not all facilities may be able to fulfill this request. Therefore, it is advised that players, caddies, and spectators come prepared with their own water or refillable water bottle.”

Breakfast: If breakfast is available, players may order food - and will pay cash or credit.
Lunch: If lunch is available, players may order food - and will pay cash or credit.

Water and Gatorade will be provided (to players only), courtesy of the CDGA. Players are encouraged to bring an adequate supply of water and food for the round.

THE CHAMPIONSHIP WEEK (August 12-14) IS BASED ON THE HOST CLUB SCHEDULE:
Monday: 18-hole stroke play qualifying to determine the 16 teams advancing to Match Play.
Tuesday: Round of 16 in the morning with the Quarterfinals in the afternoon.
Wednesday: Semifinals in the morning with the Championship match in the afternoon.
