ANNOUNCEMENTS

Your official scorecard will be completed electronically. Bring your smartphone and have the My CDGA app ready to use. Do not open the electronic scoring platform until instructed (specific details provided at your starting tee).

Read through the Championship Polices / Key Information prior to the event. It is the player's responsibility to be familiar with the information provided in this link and comply with all policies set by the CDGA.

FORMAT

All contestants qualifying into the Championship (May 20 - 22) will play 18 holes of stroke play qualifying on Monday to determine the low 16 advancing to match play. The match play will be conducted Monday afternoon, Tuesday and Wednesday. All matches are 18 holes. Please view additional information section below for the Match Play Schedule during the week.

ELIGIBILITY

The Championship is open to any active CDGA member who has reached his 25th birthday on or before the start of the Championship, and has a current handicap index not exceeding 7.4. The CDGA reserves the right to approve or reject any entry, and extend special invitations.

82 players - Low 16 will advance to match play

PRACTICE ROUND

The CDGA does not require the host qualifying site to provide a practice round for contestants. The decision as to whether a practice round will be available is at the discretion of the host site. If a practice round is available, each contestant is responsible to contact the host site and pay for any practice round(s) they wish to play.

Elgin is allowing contestants 1 practice round - fee is $100 includes cart. Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday after 2:00 p.m. Contestants must email Jon at jduppler@elgincc.com

GOLF CARTS

Riding carts are permitted. Players will pay for their own carts.

Spectator carts are not allowed - please view the policy regarding requests for cart usage under the ADA. The policy is located in the link at the top of the page.

CADDIES

Caddies are allowed. If you want to use a Host Club Caddie, you MUST arrange with the club prior to the event. There will be no caddies waiting on site the days of the event.

PULL CARTS

Pull carts are permitted at all events. You are encouraged to bring your own.

DRIVING RANGE

The driving range will open at 7:00 a.m., courtesy of the CDGA.

FOOTWEAR / SPIKE POLICY

Model Local Rule G-7 is in effect for this event

STARTING TIMES

On Monday, play will begin at 8:00 a.m. off #1 and #10. For Match Play, see Additional Info section below...

FOOD SERVICES

Breakfast: If available contestants can purchase.
Lunch: Will be provided each day to contestants courtesy of the CDGA. Caddies and Spectators will pay cash if they wish to purchase lunch.

Appropriate prizes and golf shop certificates will be awarded up to the Quarterfinalists.

THE MATCH PLAY SCHEDULE IS BASED ON THE HOST CLUB SCHEDULE AND LISTED BELOW:
Monday - Stroke Play qualifying followed by the round of 16 matches that afternoon
Tuesday - Quarterfinals beginning at 8:00 a.m. Semifinals in the afternoon, tee times to be determined.
Wednesday - Championship match in the morning, 8:00 a.m.
