Your official scorecard will be completed electronically. Bring your smartphone and have the My CDGA app ready to use. Do not open the electronic scoring platform until instructed (specific details provided at your starting tee).

Read through the Championship Polices / Key Information prior to the event. It is the player's responsibility to be familiar with the information provided in this link and comply with all policies set by the CDGA.

FORMAT

This is a 54-hole stroke play Championship taking place September 16 - 18. All players will play 18 holes on Monday and Tuesday, with the low 35 and ties advancing to the final 18 holes on Wednesday.

LOW SUPER SENIOR: Contestants who qualify for the Championship and have reached their 65th birthday, will compete for the Low Super Senior as well as the 54-hole Championship. The first two days of stroke play will determine the Low Super Senior. In the event that the Low Super Senior’s score is low enough to make the 36 hole cut for the State Senior Amateur Championship, he will continue to compete on the final day for the State Senior Amateur Championship.

ELIGIBILITY

The Championship is open to any senior amateur who is a current resident of Illinois, has a current handicap index not exceeding 10.4, and who has reached his 55th birthday on or before the start of the Championship. The CDGA reserves the right to approve or reject any entry and extend special invitations.

FIELD

Exempt players and qualifiers play 18-Holes on Monday & Tuesday. Low 35 & ties advance to final round on Wednesday. .

PRACTICE ROUND

The CDGA does not require the host qualifying site to provide a practice round for contestants. The decision as to whether a practice round will be available is at the discretion of the host site. If a practice round is available, each contestant is responsible to contact the host site and pay for any practice round(s) they wish to play.

Bloomington CC is allowing one practice round for $50. Contestants MUST call the golf shop one week in advance to reserve times (309) 829-6166. All practice rounds are based on availability.

GOLF CARTS

Are permitted. Players will pay for their own carts. Spectator carts are strictly prohibited.

CADDIES

Players may bring their own caddies or carry their own bags.

PULL CARTS

Are permitted (Based on the host club policy)

DRIVING RANGE

Opens at 7:00 a.m. courtesy of the CDGA.

FOOTWEAR / SPIKE POLICY

Model Local Rule G-7 is in effect for this event

STARTING TIMES

Play will begin at 8:00 a.m off #1 & #10 tees on Monday & Tuesday.

FOOD SERVICES

Breakfast: If available players pay Cash.
Lunch: Available each day from 11:30 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. courtesy of the CDGA.

In the event of a tie for the championship, there will be an immediate three-hole total stroke playoff. If a tie remains, play will proceed on a sudden-victory basis. Should conditions not permit, the CDGA reserves the rights to alter the playoff or tournament format.
