Your official scorecard will be completed electronically. Bring your smartphone and have the My CDGA app ready to use. Do not open the electronic scoring platform until instructed (specific details provided at your starting tee).

Read through the Championship Polices / Key Information prior to the event. It is the player's responsibility to be familiar with the information provided in this link and comply with all policies set by the CDGA.

FORMAT

This is a 54-hole stroke play Championship taking place August 26 - 27. All players will play 36 holes on Monday, with the low 35 and ties advancing to the final 18 holes on Tuesday.

ELIGIBILITY

The Championship is open to any amateur who is a current resident of Illinois, has a current handicap index not exceeding 7.4, and who has reached his 25th birthday on or before the start of the Championship. The CDGA reserves the right to approve or reject any entry and extend special invitations.

Exempt players and qualifiers

PRACTICE ROUND

The CDGA does not require the host qualifying site to provide a practice round for contestants. The decision as to whether a practice round will be available is at the discretion of the host site. If a practice round is available, each contestant is responsible to contact the host site and pay for any practice round(s) they wish to play.

Exmoor CC is allowing contestants one practice round compliments of the Club Tuesday - Friday with very limited availability during the weekend. Contestants may not bring guests. You must call the golf shop to make arrangements (847) 432-1171. All times are based on availability. Cart fee is $25 and it is CASH ONLY.

GOLF CARTS

Are permitted. Players will pay for their own carts. Spectator carts are strictly prohibited.

CADDIES

Players may bring their own caddies, carry their own bags or use a host club caddie (if available). Caddies are limited and must be reserved by Aug. 25. You must call (847) 432-1171 to reserve caddie.

PULL CARTS

Are permitted - Exmoor has a limited amount for a $10 fee. CASH ONLY

Opens at 6:30am courtesy of the CDGA.

STARTING TIMES

Monday (Aug. 28) - 7:30 am off #1 & #10 and again at 12:30 pm for afternoon round.
Tuesday (Aug. 29)- Final Round tee times will start at 8:00 am.

FOOD SERVICES

Breakfast: If available players pay cash or sign back to a club.
Lunch: Will be provided to contestants courtesy of the CDGA.

In the event of a tie for the championship, there will be an immediate three-hole total stroke playoff. If a tie remains, play will proceed on a sudden-victory basis. Should conditions not permit, the CDGA reserves the rights to alter the playoff or tournament format.
