OVERVIEW

Must be 21 years of age to participate.

FORMAT

Two-Person Scramble - On each hole, both members of the team hit a tee shot from their designated tee. The team then selects which of the tee shots they wish to play. Both players will play the next shot and once again select the shot they wish to play. This procedure is repeated until the ball is holed. "Gimmes" will be set at 4 feet.

ELIGIBILITY

Age Limit: min: 21        Index Limit: max: 36

Teams may be made up of any two CDGA members at least 21 years of age - Men and Women with a valid USGA Handicap Index® are welcome to participate. Maximum Handicap of 36.  

FIELD

Limited based on simulator capacity at each venue. Registration fee is $180 per team.

PAIRINGS

STARTING TIMES

This event will be a shotgun start. Registration will open 45 minutes prior to the scheduled start time. Simulators will open for warm-ups 30 minutes before the scheduled start time.

PRIZES

A variety of prizes will be awarded from X-Golf, Zero Friction, and the CDGA.

TIES

In the event of a tie for any prize, the USGA recommended method for breaking ties under Committee Procedures 5A(6). The Committee shall determine the definition of ``last nine holes`` as holes 10-18.

HANDICAP ALLOWANCE

A team`s total index will be used to establish a team course handicap based on the recommended USGA handicap formula specific for scramble play. An individual player`s index is based off the USGA Handicap Index effective seven days prior to the event and will be capped at 36.

o 15% B Player (2nd Lowest Handicap)

ADDITIONAL INFO

This is a single-round tournament. Entry fee includes: 18 holes of simulator golf, tee gifts, prizes, and a bevy of giveaways. Everyone who plays in a CDGA X-Golf Simulator Scramble will be entered in a drawing for a three-round, two-night Stay & Play package for two people at Tullymore Golf Resort in Stanwood, MI.
