OVERVIEW
Must be a Veterans, Active duty or Family member (parent, spouse, child or sibling) that has served in the Armed Forces.
FORMAT
The Two-Person Veterans Cup Series Scramble - On each hole, both members of the team hit a tee shot from their designated tee. The team then selects one of the tee shots and marks the spot from which to play. Both players will play the next shot from within one club length (through the green) and once again select the shot and mark the spot from which to play. This procedure is repeated until the ball is holed. On the putting green, the shot must be played from within one putter-head length.
ELIGIBILITY
Age Limit: min: 21
Teams may be made up of any two CDGA members that are Veterans, Active duty or Family member (parent, spouse, child or sibling) that has served in the Armed Forces. FIELD
Limited to 48 teams per qualifier. Registration fee is $125 per player.

STARTING TIMES
The Championship will be a shotgun start at 10:00 a.m. Confirmations will be emailed to the field 7-10 days prior to the Championship. All start times will be emailed to the field 3-5 days prior to the Championship.
TIES
In the event of a tie for first place in the Championship, under Committee Procedures 5A(6)c (play-of in stroke play), a hole-by-hole playoff will commence immediately following the round. At the Committee?s discretion, a hole-by-hole playoff may be deemed infeasible due to darkness, weather, or any other reason. In this scenario, and in the case of a tie for any other place, the Committee will use the USGA recommendation for breaking ties, found in Committee Procedures 5A(6)d. The definition of the term ``last nine holes`` will be holes 10-18.
HANDICAP ALLOWANCE
A team`s total index will be used to establish a team course handicap based on the recommended USGA handicap formula specific for scramble play. An individual player`s index is based off the USGA Handicap Index effective seven days prior to the event and will be capped at a Course Handicap of 36.
