At the CDGA, we create opportunities for everyone to experience the benefits of golf – on and off the course. It is part of our primary mission to give back in order to grow the game and create accessibility for all golfers. The following CDGA Foundation events are available this year to raise support for CDGA Outreach programs:
8th On the Tee for Autism Outing
Monday, August 26 | Chicago Highlands Club Benefiting Therapeutic Programs
Proceeds from this annual fundraiser – hosted in partnership with the Sullivan Family – support CDGA Adaptive Golf Programs for individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder and other physical, intellectual, sensory and cognitive disabilities.
Monday, July 22 | Ivanhoe Club Benefiting Veterans Programs
All proceeds benefit CDGA Sunshine Programs for Veterans, including therapeutic golf clinics, educational scholarships and the new CDGA VGA (Veteran Golfers Association) Two-Person Veterans Cup Series. Taking place each year at a renowned private golf facility in the Chicago District, the event features a memorable day with fun and challenging on-course contests and team competitions.
Concluding on Father's Day and the final day of the U.S. Open, this year's CDGA Foundation Online Auction raised more than $88,000 for CDGA Sunshine Programs. Items included stay-and-play packages at luxury golf resorts, foursomes at prestigious private courses, sports memorabilia and much more. Thanks to all who placed bids!
