2024 CDGA Youth Memberships for those who reside in the Chicago District are now available!

A CDGA Youth Membership provides individuals age 6-18 with affordable access to the game of golf. Whether it's a youngster just getting introduced to the game or an experienced player looking to take their ability to the next level, the below benefits of being a CDGA Youth Member are for everyone.

CDGA Youth Membership Benefits

Youth on Course - Rounds for $5 or Less
Through the CDGA's affiliation with Youth on Course, CDGA Youth Members can play rounds of golf for $5 or less at upwards of 60 participating courses in the Chicago District. In 2023, the program's seventh season in Illinois, more than 6,000 youth golfers played nearly 19,000 affordable-access rounds. The CDGA provides a subsidy back to participating courses, allowing youth golfers affordable access while giving clubs their full junior rate and the game a new generation of golfers.

Handicap Index® from the USGA®
The CDGA is the only Illinois-based Allied Golf Association of the USGA authorized to provide golfers with a Handicap Index®, which summarizes a player's skill level and evens the playing field for golfers of all abilities. This is a useful tool in tracking a junior's progress as they continue to hone their game.

Youth on Course is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization that provides youth with access to life-changing opportunities through golf. Private funding makes it possible for members to have access to play for $5 or less through subsidies to thousands of courses throughout the United States, Canada and Australia.

Members have the opportunity to succeed through Youth on Course programs: DRIVE Club, Careers on Course, Leadership Council and College Scholarships. In addition, Youth on Course has an Alumni Network which extends membership to those 19 and older. This elevated membership offers opportunities for young adults to connect at complementary events, access exclusive deals, find jobs, and much more.
