The Chicago District Golf Association Rules and Championships department will conduct Basic Rules of Golf workshops every four years, when the USGA releases an updated Rules of Golf. The next public workshops will take place in 2027.

In all other years, clubs may host a CDGA-conducted Rules of Golf workshop by submitting a request to the CDGA Rules and Championships department. We will attempt to accommodate club requests for workshops so long as a date can be agreed upon and at least 20 people attend.
