| Format | Two-Person Team - On each hole, all members of the team may hit a tee shot from their designated tee. The team then selects one of the tee shots and marks the spot from which to play. Both players will play the next shot and once again select the shot and mark the spot from which to play. This procedure is repeated until the ball is holed. | ||||
| Eligibility | Teams may be made up of any two CDGA members at least 21 years of age -- Men and Women with a valid USGA Handicap Index® are welcome to participate. There are no handicap minimum or maximum limits for any player in the group. | ||||
| Field | 46 Teams - divided into four flights (based on team scramble index). Flights will be given at registration. | ||||
| Practice Round | The CDGA does not require the host qualifying site to provide a practice round for contestants. The decision as to whether a practice round will be available is at the discretion of the host site. If a practice round is available, each contestant is responsible to contact the host site and pay for any practice round(s) they wish to play. | ||||
| Golf Carts | Golf Carts are provided to each team courtesy of the CDGA. | ||||
| Caddies | Players may bring their own caddies, carry their own bags or use a host club caddie (if available) | ||||
| Pull Carts | Are permitted. Players are encouraged to bring their own. | ||||
| Driving Range | Harborside staff will shuttle players to and from the Driving Range starting at 10:15 a.m. | ||||
| Footwear/Spike Policy | Is NOT in effect | ||||

| Addt'l Info | A team’s total index will be used to establish a team course handicap based on the recommended USGA handicap formula specific for scramble play. An individual player’s index is based off the USGA Handicap Index effective seven days prior to the event and will be capped at a Course Handicap of 36. o 35% A Player (Lowest Handicap) o 15% B Player (Lowest Handicap) The top-two gross and net teams from each flight at the qualifier will become eligible for the Championship. | ||||
