|FORMAT||Two-person team event with players using Handicaps. Two competitors play as partners, each playing his or her own ball while using handicap strokes. Each player will receive 65% of their handicap index, as recommended by X-Golf. The lower Net score of the partners is the score for the team on that hole, thus taking the score of the better ball on each hole. It is the player`s responsibility to know the holes at which handicap strokes are to be given or received.|
|ELIGIBILITY||Age Limit: min: 21 Index Limit: max: 25|
Teams may be made up of any two CDGA members at least 21 years of age - Men and Women with a valid USGA Handicap Index® are welcome to participate. Must have previously advanced from one of the eight qualifiers.
|FIELD||The Championship will be hosted at two sites (Schaumburg & Downers Grove) in congruence with one another:|
Schaumburg - limited to the 16 teams that previously qualified from Algonquin, Libertyville, Glenview or Kildeer.
Downers Grove - limited to the 16 teams that previously qualified from Orland Park, Naperville, Geneva or Wrigleyville
$200 entry fee is per team.
|PARINGS||All pairings for the Indoor Net Series will be based on total team index.|
|STARTING TIMES||The Championship will begin at 9:30 a.m. (subject to change based on club needs and entries).|
|PRIZES||The top-three teams from the Championship on Saturday, March 4 will receive a Stay and Play trips to Tullymore Golf Resort and various CDGA prizes.|
|TIES||All ties are broken using a scorecard playoff (holes 10-18). If the tying teams have the same score for the last nine, the winner will be determined on the basis of the last six holes, last three holes and finally the 18th hole. This method will be repeated using the first nine, if necessary.|
|HANDICAP ALLOWANCE||Players will receive 65% of their handicap. Prior to each event, An individual player`s index is based off the USGA Handicap Index effective January 1, 2023.|
|ADDITIONAL INFO||All scoring will be done electronically for the Indoor Net Series. You MUST use the My CDGA app on your smartphone to access your scorecard.|
Players will be allowed 30 minutes of practice time prior to their starting time.
