CDGA X-Golf Indoor Net Series Qualifier - Libertyville

FORMATTwo competitors play as partners, each playing his or her own ball while using handicap strokes. Each player will receive 65% of their handicap index, as recommended by X-Golf. The lower Net score of the partners is the score for the team on that hole, thus taking the score of the better ball on each hole. It is the player`s responsibility to know the holes at which handicap strokes are to be given or received.

Each event will coincide with that week`s PGA Tour stop:

Saturday, January 7 - Kapalua Golf
Saturday, February 4 - Pebble Beach Golf Links
Saturday, March 4 (Finals) - Bay Hill
ELIGIBILITYAge Limit: min: 21        Index Limit: max: 25

Teams may be made up of any two CDGA members at least 21 years of age - Men and Women with a valid USGA Handicap Index are welcome to participate.  
FIELDLimited to 16 teams per qualifier.
PARINGSAll pairings for the Indoor Net Series will be based on total team index. Pairings and additional information will be emailed out to the field the week of the qualifier.
STARTING TIMESEach qualifier will be a shotgun start at 9:30 a.m. with a 30 minute allotment to practice before starting.
PRIZESThe top-four teams at each qualifier (subject to change based on number of teams that register) will advance to the Championship on Saturday, March 4. Teams may only qualify once.

Teams that qualify from Algonquin, Libertyville, Glenview or Kildeer will advance to the Schaumburg site, while teams that qualify from Orland Park, Naperville, Geneva or Wrigleyville will advance to the Downers Grove site.
TIESAll ties are broken using a scorecard playoff (holes 10-18). If the tying teams have the same score for the last nine, the winner will be determined on the basis of the last six holes, last three holes and finally the 18th hole. This method will be repeated using the first nine, if necessary.
HANDICAP ALLOWANCEPlayers will receive 65% of their handicap, as recommended by X-Golf. Prior to each event, An individual player`s index is based off the USGA Handicap Index effective January 1, 2023.
ADDITIONAL INFOAll scoring will be done electronically for the Indoor Net Series. You MUST use the My CDGA app on your smartphone to access your scorecard.
